Scoopy Doo is open for service all year long - and that certainly includes winter! Although a snowstorm will sometimes keep us quiet for a day or two, for the most part we are out there every day keeping your yard clean and maintaining a healthy environment for you and your pet. As long as Dogs keep doing their business, we’ll keep doing ours!

Rain can be a challenge sometimes, but Scoopy Doo is up for it! Unless there are intense storms or unworkable conditions, we go out in most weather, including rain. Snow or severe cold can stop us, and also heavy rainfall. But if there’s a chance to do some productive scooping, we’ll be out there!

Scoopy Doo recognizes the importance of regular maintenance, so we will be out scooping on many of the traditional holidays. The holidays we are closed are the following: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Scoopy Doo asks you to please unlock your gate, especially if you won’t be home. Employees are not allowed to climb or jump over fences, for insurance reasons. In extreme cold weather, there is a chance that the gate locks will freeze shut. If such a case, if you can get the gates open before we arrive, that will be most appreciated.

In most cases, yes. Dogs are essential to our livelihood, so we try to get along very well with them; our scoopers are xfriendly, and always carry a stash of dog biscuits with them. That being said, there are some cases where a dog will simply not let our worker into the yard. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean the yard properly, then we ask that you restrain or confine the dog. Be advised, if the dog is allowed loose and prevents us from doing our job, you will be charged for the scheduled visit. We will not take unnecessary risks with your dog or our employees.

Scoopy Doo accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Your card will be kept on file and billed on the 1st of the month for the coming month’s service.

Scoopy Doo does not require contracts, and there is no minimum service period - you are free to cancel anytime. There is a 3-day notice required for cancellation of service.

Yes, there is a first time clean-up fee. For new customers or customers who have suspended service, we charge a one-time fee if there is more than one week of accumulation in your yard. After that you will be charged the regular fee.
